FIVE GOOD THINGS #1.

I've seen these kinds of posts around for a long time, some of my favourite bloggers post them, and I absolutely adore reading them. I'm at a point in my life where I'm trying to be positive and see the good things in whatever I can and I'll tell you...it's not easy. Especially lately. I've been in a hole for a long time and it's hard finding good or happy things in everyday life, but I'm trying to get myself out of it and enjoy things more. As a person, I'm very much an introvert, I tend to keep to myself and not really speak to many people, so it's hard to experience new things and see the good. BUT, like I said, I'm trying. So I thought I'd start this little bit on my blog and see how it goes....

#1. Meal out for Chloe's Birthday.
My boyfriend's niece turned 15 last week and we all went out for a meal at TGIF's. I've never been there before but it's a place I've always wanted to go, so a group of 8 of us all went to celebrate Chloe's birthday. The food was delicious! I can't believe I've known the little beaut since she was 8!

#2. Let go of things that hurt.
This one has been a tough thing to deal with and really hard to stick to, if i'm honest. Basically I have stopped talking to my dad. To some, this wouldn't be a 'good thing', but ever since my mum died our relationship hasn't gone how I hoped it would and he just tends to upset me whenever I'm with him. So I haven't seen nor spoken to him in about a month now. It's hard and I wish things were different, but for now, this is how I need it to be.

#3. Read more books.
This year I set a challenge for myself to read 12 books. I'm a slow reader so I set myself a realistic goal for one book a month and I am almost done with it already, woop! I'm currently on my 10th book of the year. So I'm super proud that I've stuck with it. (You can add me on Goodreads...if you want....here).

#4. Bullet Journal.
I started a BuJo about a month or so ago and I'm really enjoying doing out the pages and creating colourful designs. I'm not really creative naturally so I've followed a few Instas for ideas and I'm loving it. My last page was a 'What I Want To Buy' page for the big things that I can't afford all at once....I think we all need one of these pages!

#5. Bones.
I have been re-watching Bones for several months now and I am finally onto the final season, which I haven't seen yet. I adore Bones. I've watched it since it started back in 2005...so when I was about 12-13. It's a bittersweet feeling reaching the last episode, I'm glad to finally see how it all came to a close but sad that there'll never be any more meetings in the Royal Diner or toasts in the Founding Fathers.

What have you been liking this week? Anything good happening in your life?
