How To Have a Happy Valentine's Day with Thornton's.

"I am weird, you are weird. Everyone in this world is weird. One day, two people come together in mutual weirdness and fall in love." – Dr Seuss

I was recently contacted by a lovely lady called Laura (heeeey) asking me if I would be interested in sharing their Thornton's Valentine's day blog post with you guys. Being the helpful pixie that I am I thought, 'of course, I would love to'

When it comes to Valentine's Day I never really plan anything or do anything special. Usually it's just a card and maybe a little present for Alex, but Thornton's have definitely given me #valentinesdaygoals.

Their blog post entitled, How To Have a Happy Valentine's Day, includes soooo many tips, you seriously cannot go wrong (they also have some info for singletons, so you are not alone...well, you are, but....there's chocolate, eeeeeeh).

It gives you an amazing 'cheat sheet' which provides you with a plethora (ooh, big fancy word there, Laura) of things to do to prepare for the perfect night with your lady/man lover including planning ahead, sorting out where to go and what to buy that special someone. A nice little extra too is some interesting facts like did you know that in the UK, we spend £1.3 billion on Valentine's Day gifts, cards, flowers etc....WTF? Also, it has some information surrounding the infamous day like bet only a few of you know of its origins, eh?

This amazing blog post (high five to whomever wrote it) also gives you inspo on what to do on the night, what foods to enjoy, what gifts to splash out on and of course, which of the lovely selection of Thornton's choccies they would recommend. They even do personalised chocolates! I don't know about you, but that would be a fab gift to give....or receive ( cough, cough, Alex).

"All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt." – Charles M Schulz

So if you are stuck on what to do on V-Day or what to get your partner, have a look at this blog post because it is fabulous!
